Job Description:
As our Yard Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting our logistics manager with unloading and storing inbound product as well as preparing and picking ancillaries for our deliveries and customer collections.
Responsibilities:
· Measuring and cutting ancillaries such as windowsills and add-ons.
· Picking and packing ancillaries for both customer deliveries and collections
· Assist with incoming deliveries, unloading and storing in the correct locations
· Assisting with maintain the tidiness of the yard and stock area.
· Assist in safely loading customers’ orders, ensuring they are secured correctly.
· Ensure the relevant paperwork is signed for, and all payments are collected and accounted for at the office.
· Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment
· Maintaining equipment when necessary and reasonable
· Occasionally deliver to customers and assist with unloading. Reporting any problems noted on arrival. Maintaining good customer relations.
· You are expected to undertake any tasks reasonable assigned to you by your Manager.
Essential Skills & Experience
· Clean Full UK Driving license
· Previous experience with hand tools/chop saw
· Great communication skills, polite and professional with excellent customer service
· Can do attitude
· High levels of focus, energy and enthusiasm
· Good manual handling skills
· Attention to detail
Hours
- Monday to Thursday 8.00am to 4.30pm
- Friday 8.00pm to 3.30pm

Pay:
