Accountable Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a well-established and growing organisation based in Ellesmere Port who are seeking to appoint an experienced Interim Management Accountant to join their finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover a secondmant.
Based in Ellesmere Port, you will work a hybrid model with four days in the office and one day from home.
This opportunity is ideal for a proactive finance professional looking for a broad and varied role, offering exposure across the full management accounting cycle whilst working closely with an experienced finance leadership team.
Salary/Benefits:

Job Duties:

Preparation of monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet and cashflow reporting.

Month-end processing, including journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations.

Deliver detailed variance analysis and commentary against budget and prior year performance.

Support budgeting and forecasting processes across the business.

Produce financial reports, KPI analysis and management information to support decision making.

Assist with year-end audit requirements and external stakeholder requests.

Support the maintenance of robust financial controls and governance processes.

Contribute to continuous improvement projects across the finance function.

Partner with budget holders and stakeholders across the organisation to provide financial insight and challenge.
Who will I report in to? Head of Finance

Ideal Experience
-
Previous experience supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts.

Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs and data analysis.

Experience using finance systems such as Sage, Xero, Dynamics or similar ERP systems.

Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.

Organised and able to manage multiple priorities whilst meeting deadlines.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships across the business.

Proactive and positive approach with a willingness to support the wider finance team.
