Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Bar & Restaurant Manager to help oversee the daily operations of our Bars & Restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service while maintaining a well-organised and efficient environment. This role requires a blend of bar/Cellar expertise, food production knowledge, and the ability to supervise staff effectively.
Duties
- Manage aspects of bar operations, including staff supervision, Rotas, inventory management, and customer service.
- Ensure high standards of cleanliness and organisation within the bar area.
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of beverages and food items, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Train and mentor bar staff in bartending techniques, food preparation, and customer service best practices.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food production and ensure timely service.
- Develop innovative drink menus and promotional events to enhance guest experience.
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations as well as licensing laws.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner.
Experience
- Previous experience is essential,
- Proven leadership skills with experience in supervising a team within a hospitality setting.
- Knowledge of food production processes is advantageous for coordinating with kitchen staff.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with guests and team members.
- A background in restaurant management or related fields will be considered an asset.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet the demands of the business.
