Overview
We are seeking an energetic and motivated Deputy Store Manager to join our vibrant team. In this pivotal role, you will support the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations, leading sales initiatives, and ensuring exceptional customer service. Responsibilities
- Assist the Store Manager in managing daily store operations, ensuring smooth workflow and high standards of service
- Lead and supervise team members, providing coaching, training, and motivation to foster a positive work environment
- Support sales management strategies by implementing merchandising plans and promotional activities
- Oversee stock levels, inventory control, and merchandising displays to maximize sales opportunities
- Maintain excellent communication with staff and customers, addressing inquiries with professionalism and courtesy
- Ensure adherence to health & safety regulations, store policies, and procedures at all times
- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, reporting, and maintaining accurate records
Experience
- Proven management or supervisory experience within retail or customer service environments
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
- Excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are highly desirable
- Demonstrated success in sales management and merchandising strategies
- Exceptional organizational skills with effective time management abilities
- Experience in retail management or similar roles involving team supervision and administrative responsibilities
- Knowledge of phone etiquette and professional customer interaction techniques
