Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Radiology Assistant to join our Diagnostic Imaging team at One Hatfield Hospital, part of Phoenix Hospital Group. This part-time, permanent role is essential for supporting radiologists in delivering high-quality patient care. The successful candidate will assist in various radiological procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow and maintaining patient comfort and safety throughout their experience.
Responsibilities:

Assist radiologists in performing diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs.
- Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort.
- Maintain and operate radiological equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Manage patient records and documentation accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the radiology department.
- Assist in the scheduling of patient appointments and follow-up procedures.
- Support the radiology team in administrative tasks as required.
Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare or radiology setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Basic knowledge of radiological procedures and safety protocols.
