Job Title: Finance Officer
Hours : 35 hours per week
Shift: Monday to Friday - 9am to 5pm
Salary: £26,778.36 to £34,519.44
Key Responsibilities
1. To maintain the Association’s payroll function (if required).
2. To maintain the Association’s computerised accounts system.
3. To produce accurate and timely information from records.
4. To assist the Director of Finance and Performance and the Finance Manager in the day to day financial tasks.
Duties and Responsibilities
1.To maintain the Association’s payroll function (if required)
1.1 To maintain and produce accurate monthly payroll records for verification.
1.2 To administer payroll on behalf of external organisations.
1.3 To liaise with HMRC regarding tax issues and submit monthly information for the Association and external organisations.
2. To maintain the Association’s computerised accounts system
2.1 To assist in the inputting of data relating to the accounts system.
2.2 To reconcile the Association’s bank accounts on a monthly basis.
2.3 To produce reports from the Association’s accounting system and complete the monthly management information.
3. To produce accurate and timely information from records
3.1 To maintain the Association’s Fixed Asset Register on a monthly basis and comply with component accounting guideline.
3.2 To produce quarterly reports from records for Committee and Board Reports.
3.3 To produce details of prepayments and accruals at year end.
3.4 To assist in the production of final accounts ready for the annual audit review.
3.5 To produce monthly performance information and distribute accordingly.
4. To assist the Director of Finance and Performance and the Finance Manager in the day to day financial tasks
4.1 To investigate and recommend best value for money from suppliers as required
4.2 To undertake as requested any other duties connected with the finance functions of the Association.
4.3 To assist in the maintenance of the Association’s Rent Management System.
5. General
5.1 To participate in any training that may be considered necessary in developing the work.

Pay: £26,778.36-£34,519.44 per year
