Nominated Individual (NI) / Recruitment & Business Development Lead – Supported Accommodation
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Responsible Individual (RI) / Recruitment & Business Development Lead to provide strategic oversight and support across our Supported Accommodation services.
This is a varied senior role combining safeguarding, governance, recruitment, referral development and service growth. The successful candidate will work closely with the Registered Manager, providing oversight, guidance and professional challenge to ensure the service remains safe, compliant and focused on achieving positive outcomes for young people.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide safeguarding oversight, ensuring concerns, incidents and risks are appropriately managed and reviewed.
- Provide effective oversight and support to the Registered Manager, including constructive challenge where required.
- Conduct governance, quality and compliance audits and monitor action plans.
- Develop and implement a referral strategy to increase suitable placements and occupancy.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Local Authorities, commissioners, social workers and other referral partners.
- Promote available service capacity and placements to social workers and commissioning teams.
- Analyse referral and occupancy data to identify trends, gaps in provision and opportunities for growth.
- Support and lead recruitment activities, ensuring the service has the right staffing levels and suitably skilled staff.
- Contribute to service development, quality improvement and overall business growth.
- Ensure services operate in line with relevant legislation, safeguarding requirements, policies and contractual standards.
About You
We are looking for someone with experience in Supported Accommodation, children's services, social care, safeguarding, management, recruitment or business development.
You will be confident working at a senior level, building professional relationships and providing effective challenge and support to managers. You should have strong organisational and analytical skills, a good understanding of safeguarding and compliance, and the ability to identify opportunities to improve both service quality and occupancy.
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience and qualifications.
