Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and proactive Carer/Personal Assistant to provide dedicated support to individual in their daily life. Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care routines such as bathing, dressing, personal care, and mobility support in accordance with care plans.
- Support individuals with daily activities including meal preparation, medication reminders, and light household chores.
- Maintain clear and open communication with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals to ensure consistent care delivery.
- Drive clients safely to appointments, social activities, or errands using company vehicles when required.
- Follow detailed care plans to deliver tailored support that respects each person’s preferences and dignity.
- Monitor and document changes in health or behavior, reporting any concerns promptly to the appropriate team members.
- Use IT systems effectively to update records, track progress, and communicate essential information efficiently.
Qualifications
- Valid driving license with reliable driving skills for transporting clients safely.
- Experience working within a care home or providing home care services is preferred.
- Familiarity with creating and following care plans tailored to individual needs.
- Strong command of English for effective communication with clients and team members.
- Basic IT skills for maintaining accurate records and updating care documentation.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport quickly.
- Ability to work flexibly across different shifts and adapt to changing client requirements.
