Construction Project Manager

About Us
We're a specialist decontamination and property reinstatement company, covering mould remediation, dry rot treatment, and fire, smoke and flood damage restoration. We also carry out full reinstatement of commercial and residential properties — including hotels, restaurants, homes, offices and businesses — covering repairs, tiling, new fixtures, decorating and general refurbishment. We are UKAS ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified.
We're looking for a Construction Project Manager to oversee projects from start to finish, ensuring work is completed on schedule, to specification, and in line with our accredited quality standards — helping customers get back into their homes or back to business as quickly as possible.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule and manage decontamination and reinstatement projects from instruction through to completion and sign-off.
- Oversee in-house teams and subcontractors (tilers, decorators, electricians, plumbers, joiners, etc.) to ensure work is completed to programme and to a high standard.
- Carry out site visits and inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with method statements and risk assessments.
- Ensure all work meets our UKAS ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 accredited standards and relevant H&S legislation.
- Act as the main point of contact for customers, insurance representatives and subcontractors, maintaining clear, professional communication throughout.
- Upload photos, videos, job specifications, reports and cost/labour records to company systems in a timely manner.
- Prepare sketches, floor plans and specifications using Symbility software (full training provided).
- Assist with hands-on water mitigation, fire restoration and mould remediation work, and learn these processes on the job.
- Contribute ideas for process improvements to increase efficiency and profitability.
- Attend regular training courses, fully funded by the company.
Qualifications
- SMSTS (or SSSTS as a minimum) and CSCS card
- Experience in construction, refurbishment, or site/project management
- BDMA or IICRC restoration qualifications (Water Damage, Fire & Smoke, or Mould Remediation) — training can be provided
- UKATA Asbestos Awareness
- IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH General Certificate
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple live projects at once
- Willingness to undergo a DBS check if offered a permanent role
