We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team. Previous experience in food service or hospitality is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their enquiries promptly and professionally
- Take orders accurately and process transactions efficiently using POS systems
- Provide information about menu items, including ingredients and dietary options, ensuring food safety standards are maintained
- Assist with food preparation and serving as needed, adhering to hygiene and safety regulations
- Manage multiple tasks such as handling payments, organising orders, and maintaining cleanliness of the service area
- Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing concerns or complaints courteously and effectively
- Maintain organisation of supplies and stock levels to ensure smooth operations during shifts
- Support team members during busy periods to deliver seamless service
Experience
- Previous experience in food safety, serving, or barista roles is desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided for all new staff
- Experience in food preparation or similar customer-facing roles is advantageous
- Basic maths skills are essential for handling transactions accurately
- Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers
- Ability to work well within a team and independently when required
