Duties
- Develop and manage transportation plans that align with supply chain demands, utilizing transportation management systems (TMS) and enterprise resource planning systems to streamline scheduling and routing.
- Coordinate with third-party haulage companies and own drivers to ensure timely shipping and receiving of materials.
- Optimize category management strategies by analyzing shipping data, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and implementing process improvements.
- Conduct data analysis to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), identify bottlenecks, and recommend solutions for continuous process improvement.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards such as transport operation protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance logistics workflows, reduce lead times, and improve overall supply chain performance.
Experience
- Proven experience in transportation planning or logistics coordination within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of transportation management systems (TMS),
- Demonstrated ability in data analysis with proficiency in identifying trends and implementing process improvements.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
