This exciting opportunity of SGB, Part-Time at Johnstone will involve sale of tickets and other rail service products, providing customers with information and assistance. Maintenance / cleaning of station environments including platforms, waiting areas and toilets. Ensuring that station complies with the Service Quality Incentive Regime..
What you bring:
- Highly motivated, flexible, and enthusiastic
- An effective communicator with a customer-focused approach
- Well-presented and committed to delivering excellent service
- A supportive team player who also shows individual initiative
- Punctual and have basic numeracy skills, with prior experience in customer assistance.
- A Customer Service SVQ (advantageous, but not essential)
- Knowledge of booking office regulations and procedures (desirable)
- Familiarity with ScotRail customer service and station cleanliness standards.
- A working understanding of COSHH regulations relevant to cleaning and station maintenance.
- Basic knowledge of safety protocols and the minor repairs procedure for station equipment and facilities.
Further information:
Station Grade Area and Internal GPR and RDR posts will have a contractual commitment to work, when required by the company, up to a maximum of 13 Sunday turns per calendar.
