Based at our Lisburn Road facility in Belfast, this role will be responsible for overseeing clinical co-ordination, managing consultant relationships, and ensuring appropriate outpatient and theatre capacity is in place to support service demand and operational excellence.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Finance Assistant to support the finance function of a multi-site healthcare group operating across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland reporting to Group Finance Manager. This role plays a key part in both sales and purchase ledger operations, ensuring accurate billing, timely processing of supplier invoices, and robust financial controls across multiple entities.
You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting daily transactional finance activity, and ensuring smooth coordination between billing, payments, and reconciliation processes.
Key Responsibilities
· Sales Ledger & Patient Billing
· Manage patient billing including taking card payments and account activity including credit control
· Ensure accurate recording of clinic and theatre activity for invoicing purposes
· Issue receipts and maintain accurate debtor records
· Purchase Ledger & Banking
· Assisting with processing supplier invoices accurately and promptly across multiple group companies
· Match purchase requisitions and delivery notes to ensure correct charging and receipt of goods/services
· Cash/Cheque lodgements to the bank
· Support online banking processes, including preparation of payment runs for authorisation
· Reporting & Support
· Assist with pricing
· Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and month end processes
· Provide administrative support to Finance Manager
· Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and procedures

Qualifications
- 5 GCSE grades A-C including Maths and English or equivalent.
- Level 2 AAT qualification (Desirable)
Experience
- A minimum of two years’ experience in a busy finance role.
- Experience managing accounts across multiple jurisdictions

Pay: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
