Responsibilities
- Read and interpret sketches and drawings to accurately construct sheds according to specifications
- Use a variety of hand tools and power tools to cut timber, assemble panels, and build bespoke sheds, summerhouses, and workshops in our local yard.
- Ensure all timber structures are built to a high standard, checking measurements and alignment accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Proven experience in carpentry, timber framing, fencing, or shed building, although training will be provided.
- Proficient with hand tools such as saws, hammers, chisels as well as power tools including battery drills, cross-cut saws, nail guns
- Ability to use a fork lift and valid license would be an advantage
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
