Crushing & Screening Operator – Glasgow
Banner Contracts is looking for an experienced and motivated Crushing & Screening Operator to join our team working at our site in Glasgow.
This is a long-term opportunity with plenty of overtime available for the right candidate.
The successful applicant must be a team player with a positive, can-do attitude and be comfortable working both independently and as part of a wider site team.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Operating crushing and screening equipment.
- Operating excavators within a quarry environment.
- Operating loading shovels.
- Carrying out basic plant maintenance and daily checks.
- Identifying and reporting basic plant defects.
- Assisting with the safe and efficient running of the processing operation.
- Maintaining high standards of health, safety and housekeeping.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience working within a quarry, recycling or crushing and screening environment.
- Experience operating excavators and loading shovels.
- A basic understanding of mobile crushing and screening equipment.
- Good practical/mechanical awareness.
- A strong attitude towards health and safety.
- A reliable, flexible and positive approach to work.
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Pay: £50,000.00-£65,000.00 per year
