Role Overview
We are looking for an organised and driven Commercial Operations Assistant with a can-do attitude to join our small, but expanding, friendly office team and to support our growing operations.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start their career in administration whilst joining an expanding business during an exciting time of growth.
Entry-level candidates are welcome to apply. The role offers salary progression linked to the successful completion of training and development milestones. Starting salary will reflect the successful candidate's skills, experience and qualifications and will meet or exceed all applicable statutory minimum pay requirements.
No prior experience is required as full on-the-job training will be provided.
Own reliable transport is essential due to the rural location of our offices near Bungay, Suffolk which are not accessible by public transport or public footpaths.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a wide variety of general administrative support across departments, including managing multiple mailboxes.
- Answer and direct phone calls in an efficient and professional manner.
- Manage e-commerce platforms, including online inventory control.
- Manage point-of-sale requests and coordinate the despatch of these items.
- Liaise with warehouse staff to ensure orders are dispatched in a timely manner.
- Greet visitors and assist with general enquiries.
- Occasionally serve customers visiting the brewery shop on site.
- Support team members with ad hoc tasks as required, contributing to a collaborative working environment.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks.
- A positive, proactive attitude and eagerness to learn.
- Ability to work well in a team and demonstrate initiative.
- Must be at least 18 years of age due to rules regulating the sale of alcohol.
