McAllister A Vortex Company, is seeking an Graduate Engineer to join the team, you will work alongside experienced engineers, project managers, and site teams on a variety of infrastructure and utility projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands-on experience across a range of civil engineering and infrastructure projects. You will gain exposure to both office-based engineering activities and practical site operations, allowing you to develop a understanding of project delivery from design through to construction.
As a Graduate Civil Engineer, you will support the successful planning, design, coordination, and delivery of projects, developing both your technical knowledge and practical site experience. You will be exposed to all stages of project delivery and play an active role in ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities

To assist in the co-ordination of the team activities to ensure that the project is completed on budget and on time, in line with the agreed construction process.

To assist in ensuring the project complies with health, safety, environmental and quality requirements.

To assist the Project Manager on the management of the team, giving advice on appropriate resourcing levels, effective performance management, employee development and motivation.

Adopting and promoting Mc Allister A Vortex Company Vision and Values. Taking ownership for the work assigned to you.

Support site teams with setting out, surveying, inspections, and quality assurance activities.

Prepare technical reports, project records, progress updates, and engineering documentation.

Assist with project cost control, programme monitoring, and performance reporting.

Assist with engineering calculations, design reviews, and technical assessments where required.

Participate in site visits and gain practical experience across construction and utility operations.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support the successful delivery of project objectives.
Qualifications

Degree or Masters in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
