The Control Tower Shift Manager will report to the Control Tower Manager and join the SCS Logistics team that manages construction logistics across the HS2 main works. They will be responsible for Control Tower Operations and ensuring all stakeholders requirements are exceeded.
The role has line management responsibility for a team of logistics coordinators and will be expected to lead, coach and develop their team.
The role is aimed at an ambitious, dynamic and enthusiastic Logistics professional who want’s to be part of a team that is developing a logistics operation which will be deployed across future major construction projects.
Location: On-site role at Willesden Junction

- Deputising for Control Tower Manager when required
- Control Tower Systems Super User.
- Escalation for any incidents / problem .
- Management of Team Performance.
- Good working relationship with all Stakeholders.
The Ideal Candidate
- Experience in Construction Logistics advantageous but not essential
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English (essential)
- Good organisation skills (essential)
- Good IT skills eg Excel, Word (essential)

The Skanska | Costain | STRABAG (SCS JV) is delivering the HS2 London Tunnels Contract. Scope of works includes twin-bored tunnels (TBM), SCL tunnels, shaft sinking, bridge demolition and reconstruction, services diversions, earthworks and the construction of site compounds.
