Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeper to join our cleaning team and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and organisation within our Inn. The successful candidate will oversee daily housekeeping operations, manage and maintain exceptional service quality to enhance guest satisfaction. Previous experience in hospitality environments, particularly in hotel/Inn housekeeping is highly desirable but for someone with professional cleaning experience we are happy to discuss the role further. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail is essential.
Duties
- Support the daily activities of the housekeeping to ensure efficient operations.
- Adhere to cleaning schedules and standards in accordance with hotel policies.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
- Support housekeeping team to deliver consistent service excellence.
- Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring cost-effective utilisation.
- Address guest requests or complaints promptly, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate cleaning activities around hotel operations.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hotel housekeeping roles preferred.
- Strong understanding of hospitality standards and guest service expectations.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and best practices in hygiene standards.
- Previous experience in hospitality environments preferred.
