Job Overview
We are seeking experienced CPCS/NPORS 360 Drivers for full-time positions on construction sites. The ideal candidates will possess valid certification and demonstrate a strong understanding of operating heavy machinery, particularly excavators. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to large-scale projects, ensuring safety and efficiency across various site operations. Candidates must have a solid foundation in mechanical knowledge and commercial driving, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism.
Duties
- Operate CPCS/NPORS 360 excavators safely and efficiently in accordance with site protocols
- Assist with the mobilisation and demobilisation of plant equipment on-site
- Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance checks on machinery to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with site managers and other operatives to coordinate lifting and earthmoving activities
- Follow all health and safety regulations, including risk assessments and safe working practices
- Report any operational issues or safety concerns promptly to supervisors
- Assist with other site duties as required, utilising mechanical knowledge where applicable
Experience
- Valid CPCS or NPORS certification for 360 excavator operation
- Proven experience operating heavy plant machinery within a construction environment
- Mechanical knowledge relevant to excavator maintenance and troubleshooting
- Experience in commercial driving is advantageous but not essential
- Familiarity with health and safety procedures on construction sites
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
