Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Wraparound Club | Schools Club Leader/Manager in Winchester to oversee after-school programmes and activities for children. The ideal candidate will be responsible for organising engaging activities, ensuring the safety and well-being of children, and fostering a positive environment that promotes learning and development. Duties
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise a variety of after-school activities tailored to children's interests and developmental needs.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children during programme hours, adhering to safeguarding policies.
- Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and external partners regarding programme activities and children's progress.
- Manage daily operations of the club, including organising schedules, maintaining records, and overseeing staff or volunteers.
- Facilitate inclusive activities that promote teamwork, creativity, and personal growth among children.
- Drive programme outreach efforts to encourage participation from diverse community groups.
- Maintain a welcoming, organised environment that encourages positive behaviour and engagement.
Experience
- Proven experience in childcare, teaching, nannying, or similar roles working with children.
- Driving experience is essential for transporting equipment as required.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Prior leadership or managerial experience within educational or childcare settings is desirable.
- Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and child protection policies.
