Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver exceptional service in a lively environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for customer service, excellent organisational skills, and a friendly demeanour. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and take orders accurately
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and hygiene
- Ensure all food safety regulations are adhered to at all times
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately using the till system
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar and dining areas, including clearing tables and sanitising surfaces
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service operations
- Assist in setting up and closing down the bar or restaurant area
- Manage multiple tables effectively during busy periods, demonstrating excellent time management skills
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality, food service, or restaurant environments is advantageous but not mandatory
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures is desirable
- Strong serving skills with a friendly and professional attitude
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently during peak hours
- Basic maths skills for handling payments accurately
- Ability to work well within a team and independently when required
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends needed
