Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation within various premises, ensuring a hygienic and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces according to health and safety standards
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, cleaning products, and paper goods as needed
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is used safely and maintained properly
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Follow organisational procedures for waste disposal and recycling
- Adhere to health and safety protocols at all times during cleaning activities
- Assist with specialised cleaning tasks when required, including carpet cleaning or window washing
Skills
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred but not mandatory
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and accuracy
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning duties throughout the shift
- Reliable time management skills to ensure all duties are completed within scheduled hours
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new techniques or procedures
Pay: £13.00-£13.50 per hour
