Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Waiters/Waitresses to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure a smooth dining experience, and uphold high standards of food safety and presentation. Prior experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are accommodated
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining a high standard of presentation
- Provide attentive guest service, addressing any questions or concerns promptly
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities
- Ensure cleanliness and organisation of tables, service stations, and dining areas throughout shifts
- Follow food safety protocols diligently, including proper handling and storage of food items
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen duties as required, supporting overall restaurant operations
- Process payments accurately using the POS system and handle cash transactions securely
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques is desirable
- Familiarity with serving procedures, upselling strategies, and guest relations enhances performance in this role
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts
- Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a friendly demeanour
