Boys & Maughan is seeking a Commercial Property Solicitor or experienced Chartered Legal Executive to join our well-established Commercial Property team based at our Canterbury office.
We are looking for a lawyer with ideally three or more years' post-qualification experience who is confident managing their own caseload, enjoys building strong relationships with clients and professional contacts, and is keen to contribute to the continued growth of a busy and successful department.
The role
You will work on a broad range of commercial property matters, including:
- Contracts subject to planning
- Sales and purchases of commercial property
- Asset sales and purchases
- Overage agreements and option agreements
- Commercial lending transactions
- Commercial leases, including grants and assignments
- Supporting the team's property development work
- Managing your own transactions from instruction through to completion
You will act for a diverse client base including developers, investors, occupiers, retailers, lenders, borrowers and high-net-worth individuals. The role offers an excellent opportunity to undertake high-quality work while helping to develop and strengthen our commercial client offering.
