To be responsible for raising awareness of Loughborough University within the external marketplace and contribute towards the University’s student recruitment objectives through the delivery of targeted and impactful outreach activities. Using data, insight and professional experience, the postholder will identify opportunities to develop meaningful, inclusive and high-impact interventions that increase participation and progression among students from under-represented groups.
The successful candidate will take ownership of delivering Access interventions outlined within the University's Access and Participation Plan, ensuring that all activities are effectively planned, delivered, monitored and evaluated. They will be responsible for measuring impact, analysing outcomes, and producing timely, evidence-based reports to inform future practice and strategic decision-making.
The postholder will be expected to work flexibly and independently, whilst contributing positively as part of a wider team. This role will involve some evening and weekend work, as well as travel across the UK to support outreach and recruitment activities.

About the Department
Marketing and Advancement is an award-winning team spanning marketing, communications, web and digital, student recruitment, outreach, market research, international recruitment, creative services and print, and philanthropy and alumni relations.
About You
- Experience of working within widening access/participation or student recruitment.
- Experience of designing and delivering events and sustained programmes of engagement with students in secondary or further education.
- Current and relevant knowledge of evaluation techniques, impact reporting and monitoring.
- Ability to work collaboratively and build strong working relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
- An excellent communicator with the ability to engage confidently and effectively with diverse audiences.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, active listening, and the ability to influence and inspire others to achieve shared objectives.
- Full UK Driving License required for the role
