We are looking for a compassionate, dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our friendly nursing home team.
You will play a key role in providing high-quality, person-centred nursing care to our residents, supporting their health, wellbeing and independence while ensuring their dignity and individual needs are always respected.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe, effective and person-centred nursing care to residents.
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individual care plans.
- Administer medication safely and maintain accurate medication records.
- Monitor residents' health and respond appropriately to changes in condition.
- Liaise with GPs, community nurses, families and other healthcare professionals.
- Lead and support care staff to ensure consistently high standards of care.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and nursing records.
- Promote safeguarding, infection prevention and health and safety procedures.
- Support residents with long-term conditions, dementia and complex care needs.
- Ensure all care is delivered in accordance with relevant legislation, policies and professional standards.
We are looking for someone who is:
- A Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with a valid NMC registration.
- Caring, compassionate and committed to providing excellent resident care.
- Confident working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Able to communicate effectively with residents, relatives and colleagues.
- Able to complete all online and in person training on time.
- Organised, reliable and able to prioritise effectively.
- Knowledgeable about medication management, safeguarding and clinical governance.
- Ideally experienced in a nursing home, elderly care or similar setting.
