Roles and Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Transport Supervisor to lead our transport operations at Milton Keynes. In this pivotal role, you will:
- Manage and support drivers to deliver excellent customer service and on-time, in-full performance.
- Ensure all drivers and vehicles comply with DVSA, MHRA, and GDP regulations.
- Champion a zero-accident culture, promoting health & safety across the site.
- Plan driver rotas and coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Oversee fleet maintenance and servicing schedules.
- Induct, train, and manage drivers, ensuring policies on attendance and holidays are followed.
- Monitor KPIs, drive improvements, and contribute to business strategy projects.
- Provide weekend emergency cover on a rota basis.

- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Flexible approach with the ability to work shifts and additional hours.
- Proven ability to plan, delegate, and make sound decisions under pressure.
- PC literate with strong administration skills.
- Honest, open, and able to motivate staff effectively.
Desirable:
- Sound knowledge of transport operations and WTD.
- Experience within a logistics or wholesale environment.
