We are looking for experienced and reliable Support Workers / Care Assistants to work in a day centre setting in the NG22 area.
This role is mainly focused on supporting service users during the day with activities, social interaction, engagement, and general wellbeing.
Main Duties:
- Supporting service users with daily activities in the day centre
- Encouraging participation in games, arts and crafts, music, light exercise, outings, and social activities
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Assisting with mobility where required
- Supporting with meals, drinks, and general comfort
- Promoting independence, dignity, and choice
- Observing and reporting any changes in service users’ wellbeing
- Working as part of a friendly care team
Requirements:
- Previous care or support work experience
- Good communication skills
- Kind, patient, and reliable attitude
- Right to work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS preferred
- Relevant care training certificates preferred
