- Full-time: Monday-Friday
- Open 7.30 to 6.00pm (shifts of 7.5 hours)
- 37.5 hours per week

- Up to £26,500 per annum, dependent on age and experience

Job Description
Coppice Childcare Shard End (Twinkletots) are looking for an experienced Early Years Practitioner, Level 3 or above. The successful candidate will have an excellent track record of working in the sector and looking to move into a Room Leader position should the opportunity become available.
This is an opportunity to join a fantastic, friendly team of like-minded individuals to provide a high standard of childcare. We are looking for an experienced practitioner who loves working with children of this age group and understands care and developmental needs of this age group
The appointed person will :
- Have the knowledge and understanding to keep children safe and be confident to implement our safeguarding procedures.
- Provide a Key Person role for the children in your care, building an effective parent partnership and meeting children's individual welfare and learning needs.
- To have a secure knowledge of meeting the EYFS requirements and work with the team to deliver the curriculum.
- To support children in providing exciting play that supports children's interests and next steps to ensure they progress and develop ready for their next stage of development.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming nursery environment at all times.
- Manage daily routines, including meal times, play sessions, and nap times.
- Collaborate with other staff members to maintain high standards of care and education.
- Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills.
Skills
- Experience working with children in a nursery or early years setting is essential.
- Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and practices.
- Ability to communicate effectively with children and adults alike.
- Leadership skills to guide and inspire both children and fellow practitioners.
- Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- A genuine drive for promoting children's learning and development through play-based activities.
- Knowledge of childcare regulations and best practices is advantageous.
