Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Removal Porter/driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the safe and efficient movement of goods and furniture both locally and nationally.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload items using appropriate techniques and equipment, ensuring safety at all timea.
- Handle materials carefully, ensuring items are transported without damage
- Support with moving-related tasks as required, including basic assembly or disassembly of items and disconnection and reconnection of appliances and packing.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety standards
- Perform heavy lifting tasks safely, following proper manual handling procedures
Qualifications
- Age 21+ with Valid full UK driving license essential.
- Confortable driving 3.5 tonne Luton vans.
- Proven ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Physical fitness to undertake manual handling tasks over extended periods
This role requires a proactive attitude towards safety and efficiency, with a focus on delivering high standards in all aspects of materials movement. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, hardworking, and committed to maintaining a safe working environment.
Please note - this role is currently not Full-time, it is a role that requires flexibility around hours, with full availability to work at short notice and with pre-booked jobs.
Pay: £15.00 per hour
