Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dependable Florist Delivery Driver to join our vibrant team! In this role, you will be the friendly face and reliable driver responsible for delivering beautiful floral arrangements to our valued customers. Your enthusiasm for excellent service, combined with your driving skills, will ensure each delivery is made promptly and with care. Hours will be a minimum of 16 hours per week over two days between Monday and Saturday, flexibilty in working days,holiday cover, early mornings and weekend availabilty is a must.
Duties
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver floral arrangements to residential and commercial clients in a timely manner
- Verify delivery addresses and ensure accurate order fulfillment before departure
- Handle floral arrangements with care, ensuring they arrive in pristine condition
- Communicate effectively with customers upon delivery, providing friendly assistance and answering basic questions
- Assist with loading and unloading flowers from the warehouse, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of the vehicle, conducting routine inspections and reporting any issues
- Keep detailed records of deliveries, including signatures or proof of delivery as required
Requirements
- Experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role, preferably with floral or retail deliveries
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; <PERSON> driver certification is a plus
- Experience with commercial driving vehicles and adherence to traffic laws and safety regulations
- Ability to lift heavy floral arrangements and boxes repeatedly throughout the day
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
- Warehouse experience is advantageous for handling inventory and loading tasks
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including weekends when needed
