JUNIOR ACCOUNT MANAGER
MATT ANDERSON CREATIVE
PERMANENT | FULL-TIME
ABOUT US
Matt Anderson Creative is an independent creative agency based in West Sussex. Trusted by some of the world’s leading beauty brands, including L’Oréal Paris, Maybelline New York, Garnier and Sol de Janeiro our work spans across retail, visual merchandising, packaging, digital, social, motion and campaign content.
We’re looking for a Junior Account Manager to join our established team, support the smooth delivery of our projects and develop their career within a busy creative agency.
THE ROLE
You’ll support the day-to-day running of a busy portfolio of beauty projects, acting as a link between our clients and the creative studio. Working closely with the wider account team, you’ll help turn client requests into clear briefs, coordinate schedules and budgets, manage feedback and ensure work is accurate, on brand and delivered on time.
You’ll initially support larger accounts while taking ownership of smaller projects, with the opportunity to build your responsibilities and client relationships as you develop in the role.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Client Relationships: Support day-to-day client communication across emails, calls and meetings, keeping clients informed and following up on actions. As your confidence grows, you’ll begin leading conversations and managing your own client relationships.
Briefs & Scoping: Receive and translate client requests into clear creative briefs, deliverables, timings and estimates, with support from the wider account team.
Project Management: Coordinate projects from briefing through to final delivery, managing smaller projects independently while supporting the delivery of larger, more complex work.
Budgets & Admin: Help prepare estimates, track time and costs, obtain the correct approvals and purchase orders, and flag potential changes to scope.
Feedback, Quality & Delivery: Consolidate client feedback, brief amends clearly, manage version control and carefully proof work before supplying final assets to clients and production partners.
Growth & Teamwork: Look for opportunities to add value, support the wider account team and work closely with designers, artworkers, motion editors and production partners.
WHAT YOU BRING
Relevant Experience: Some experience in account management, project management or client services within a creative, design or marketing environment. This could suit an Account Executive ready to take the next step. Beauty or FMCG experience would be an advantage, but isn’t essential.
Client Confidence: A warm and professional communication style, with the confidence to contribute in meetings, communicate clearly over email and raise questions or concerns early.
Organisation: Strong prioritisation skills and the ability to coordinate multiple live projects without losing sight of the details or deadlines.
Communication: Good written and verbal skills, with the ability to turn information into clear briefs, actions and next steps.
Attention to Detail: A careful eye for copy, artwork and specifications, helping to ensure every final delivery meets the client’s expectations.
Ownership: A positive, proactive and solutions-focused attitude. You’re comfortable taking responsibility while also knowing when to ask questions or seek support.
Tools & Interest: Confident using Microsoft Office and comfortable learning project-management tools. Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud would be useful, alongside a genuine interest in beauty, brands and creative work.
THE GOOD BITS
Studio: A bright, spacious and friendly independent studio in Storrington, West Sussex.
Hybrid Working: Four days a week in the studio, with one day working from home.

Time Off: 20 days’ annual leave, increasing with length of service to a maximum of 25 days, plus bank holidays, additional time off over Christmas and your birthday off.
