Are you an organised, friendly and professional individual with a passion for delivering excellent customer service? We are looking for a Patient Co-ordinator to join our busy and supportive practice team.
As the first point of contact for our patients, you'll play a vital role in ensuring they receive a welcoming and efficient service, whether in person, over the telephone or online. You'll work closely with our clinical and administrative teams to help deliver high-quality patient care.
Main Responsibilities
- Greeting patients and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner.
- Managing appointments using the practice appointment system.
- Answering incoming telephone calls and responding to patient enquiries.
- Signposting patients to the most appropriate service.
- Processing patient registrations and updating medical records.
- Accurately inputting information onto the clinical system.
- Liaising with GPs, nurses, community services and other healthcare professionals.
- Supporting the wider practice team with administrative duties as required.
We're Looking For Someone Who:
- Has excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Is organised, reliable and able to work under pressure.
- Enjoys working as part of a team.
- Has good IT skills and attention to detail.
- Previous reception, customer service or healthcare experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
