Mobile Van Technician
Reading, Berkshire | £40,000 – £45,000 per year
Full-Time | Permanent | Monday–Friday, 8:00am–6:00pm | Company Van Provided
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mobile Van Technician to join a well-established and reputable privately owned company based just outside Reading, Berkshire.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Car Mechanic, Van Technician or Vehicle Technician who is looking to move into a mobile role and develop their skills further.
You will be provided with a company van and will travel to customer sites, carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs. You will work across a variety of locations including schools, hospitals, care homes and other customer sites, so a professional and friendly approach is essential.
One of the key benefits of the role is the opportunity to learn and develop your knowledge of hydraulics and HGVs. Full support will be provided, making this a great opportunity for someone who is technically strong and keen to broaden their experience
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance or an equivalent qualification
- Previous experience as a Car, Van or Vehicle Technician
- A full, clean UK driving licence
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
- The ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Good communication and customer service skills
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
You don't need to be experienced in hydraulics or HGVs already — the willingness to learn is what matters.
