We are recruiting for a confident and commercially driven Business Development Manager to join a growing digital business operating within the eCommerce SEO sector.
This is a full 360 sales role for someone who enjoys building new relationships, creating opportunities from scratch, speaking with senior decision-makers, and taking ownership of the full sales process from initial outreach through to close.
The role is best suited to a true outbound sales professional, someone who is comfortable picking up the phone, managing a pipeline, qualifying opportunities properly, and having consultative commercial conversations with business owners and senior stakeholders.
As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for generating and closing new business opportunities with established eCommerce brands.
You will identify suitable prospects, qualify their needs, present tailored digital growth solutions, and manage the sales journey through to successful client onboarding.
This is a proactive, target-driven role where activity, quality conversations, strong qualification and commercial follow-through are key.
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to close
- Generate new business through outbound calling, CRM activity and intelligent outreach
- Build relationships with business owners, founders and senior decision-makers
- Hold consultative sales conversations to understand commercial challenges and growth goals
- Present tailored SEO-led solutions to relevant prospects
- Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline updates and forecasting
- Deliver against agreed activity, meeting and revenue targets
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth client handover
- We are looking for someone with a strong outbound sales background and a genuine hunter mentality.
- You will be confident, organised, commercially aware, and comfortable working in a high-activity sales environment.
- You should be someone who enjoys the challenge of opening doors, building trust quickly, and turning conversations into long-term business relationships.
- Proven B2B sales or business development experience
- Strong outbound cold-calling experience
- Experience managing a full sales cycle independently
- Confident objection-handling skills
- Strong communication and relationship-building ability
- Good CRM discipline and pipeline management
- Experience selling digital, marketing, SaaS, professional services or technical solutions would be beneficial
- An understanding of SEO, eCommerce or digital marketing would be advantageous
