Duties
- Assist with meal preparation and food assembly to support chefs and cooks in delivering high-quality dishes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations, utensils, and storage areas
- Follow food safety protocols diligently to ensure hygiene standards are met at all times
- Support with serving food during meal times, ensuring timely and courteous service
- Help with basic cooking tasks under supervision, including chopping, mixing, and plating
- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to keep the kitchen running smoothly
- Contribute to a positive team environment by communicating effectively and supporting colleagues
Experience
- Previous experience in catering, restaurant work, or food service environments is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen safety practices is advantageous
- Experience with meal preparation and food safety standards will help you excel in this role
- Basic understanding of culinary processes and kitchen operations is beneficial

Pay: £12.71-£19.02 per hour
