Edinburgh University Students' Association is looking to recruit 2 Technical Crew Members to join our Business Development team.

We are looking for Technical Crew to help run events such as live music, theatre performances, arts festivals, and conferences throughout venues placed around Edinburgh. Candidates will receive training on sound, lighting, rigging, and other event related activities. Ideal candidates should have a passion for the arts, and for delivering live events.
Salary: £13.45 per hour (increasing to £13.95 after probation), plus a generous benefits package:

Hours: 12 hours per week (term-time)
Contract: Guaranteed Hours - Term-Time (zero-hours outside term-time)
The Role:
Technical Crew Members will be scheduled to work events and take an operational role during such events. This will involve setting up, operating, and de-rigging / storing technical equipment. Additional roles include the rigging and de-rigging of venue equipment, and assistance in maintenance, and venue cleaning. Technical Crew Members will also be responsible for reporting any faults found and reporting them to the Technical Management team at the end of each event via current systems.
As a member of the technical crew, you will be expected to carry out all and any reasonable jobs allocated by the relevant Duty Manager / Entertainments or Production Management teams.
