Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to provide high-quality support to individuals within their own homes in:
Epping, Chingford, Waltham Forest and Redbridge area.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in assisting with daily activities, promoting independence, and ensuring the well-being of those in their care. Duties
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Support individuals with mobility and daily routines, encouraging independence where possible
- Follow personalised care plans to meet each individual's specific needs
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Help with domestic tasks including light cleaning and meal preparation
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in client condition
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
- Drive clients to appointments or activities as required (driving licence preferred)
Skills
- Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Ability to use IT systems for record keeping and communication purposes
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple care routines efficiently
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to support others
- Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude
- Experience working in a care home or home care environment is advantageous but not essential
- Knowledge of care plans and ability to adapt support accordingly
- Driving skills are desirable to facilitate client transportation

Pay: £12.71-£13.85 per hour
