Speedy Fuels, located in Slough, an experienced Class 1 Fuel Tanker Driver to join their team, working the night/evening shift 3 pm-1 am (flexibility required)
Location: Slough, SLO
Salary: £42,000 increasing to £45,000 following training period plus Pension, Overtime & Training
Job Type: LGV Class 1 Fuel Driver
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Working Hours and Shift Pattern: 50 hours per week with potential for overtime, Monday to Friday, with 1 in 3 Saturdays.
To be considered for this role, candidates must:
- Hold a current LGV Class 1 (C&E) license
- Have at least two years of Class 1 driving experience
- Hold a valid CPC license
- Have an ADR (classes 2 and 3)
Desirable skills:
- Candidates with previous tanker and fuel experience and PDP are desirable, but full training will be provided for the right driver.
Requirements:
- Candidates must have no more than 3 penalty points on their license, none related to drink/drug driving offences or dangerous driving.
Other important information:
- Applicants are required to live within a maximum of 45 minutes commute from the location they are applying to work.
- The job requires maintaining high levels of customer focus with a keen eye for detail and process.
- Candidates must be able to follow instructions in line with comprehensive Company procedures and within strict industry guidelines.
