Bar Supervisor for 68 & Shanghai
Got big energy and an even bigger love of hospitality? 68&Shanghai is on the hunt for a Bar Supervisor to help lead our floor.We're a lively community bar in the heart of Spitalfields, known for our young, buzzing crowd and a team that brings genuine personality to every shift. Right now, we're gearing up for something exciting, a brand new cocktail bar launching in our cellar this September, and we want someone who's ready to be part of that journey from day one.What you'll be doing:
- Leading and motivating the bar team during service, setting the tone for the shift
- Training new starters and helping the team level up their skills and confidence
- Managing stock, ordering, and cellar management
- Supporting with rotas, opening and closing procedures, and day to day operations
- Bringing creative ideas to drinks specials, events, and the overall guest experience
- Being a key face of the bar, someone regulars know and new guests remember
What we're looking for:
- Previous supervisory or senior bartending experience
- A natural leader who thrives under pressure and brings the team together
- Genuine passion for drinks, hospitality, and creating a great atmosphere
- Confidence, charisma, and a bit of flair, you'll be helping shape the culture of a growing bar
- Someone excited to get stuck into our new cellar cocktail bar project
