Join our new site at Waterton Arms, Deeping, Peterborough! Tea and the Gang is an independent, growing business. We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Café Supervisor to lead the team at our brand-new location. This is a hands-on role. It is ideal for someone with strong hospitality experience who loves leading a team, delivering excellent customer service, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Our new site is a popular destination for families and locals, so we need someone energetic, organised, and confident.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supervising daily café operations
- Leading and supporting the front-of-house team
- Delivering excellent customer service
- Opening and closing the café independently
- Managing stock levels and daily organisation
- Maintaining high cleanliness and food safety standards
- Supporting the kitchen and service team during busy periods
- Handling customer queries professionally and confidently
What We’re Looking For
- Previous café, coffee shop, or hospitality supervisory experience
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Confident working in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, organised, and proactive
- Must be available to work weekends
- Full UK driving licence required
- Barista experience is desirable but not essential
