About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and detail-focused Aftercare Manager to join our bespoke joinery team. The successful candidate will be responsible for rectifying minor defects and coordinating remedial works to joinery at clients’ properties. The job will involve travel to sites primarily in Central London and Surrey.
This role is vital in delivering a premium customer experience and maintaining our reputation for exceptional craftsmanship, attention to detail and quality finishing.
Key Responsibilities
- Responding to snagging lists from our management team and clients.
- Carry out remedial works and adjustments efficiently with minimal disruption to clients.
- Record snagging items accurately using company reporting systems and photographs.
- Attend site meetings when necessary.
- Coordinate with installation teams, workshop staff, subcontractors, and project managers to resolve outstanding issues.
- Ensure all snagging works are completed within agreed timescales.
- Organising any materials or hardware needed to complete the tasks via our workshops or suppliers.
- Communicating progress daily with clients and our management team.
- Obtain client sign-off following completion of snagging works.
- Promote a high standard of workmanship, health and safety, and professionalism on-site.
Skills and Experience
- Proven experience within bespoke joinery, cabinet making and joinery installation.
- Strong understanding of joinery installation methods and finishing standards.
- Ability to identify defects and quality issues with a high level of attention to detail.
- Experience carrying out remedial and adjustment works.
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
- Professional and courteous manner.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Flexible approach to travel and project requirements, with willingness to join our fitting team at times when snagging work is complete.

Salary: £45,000–£50,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, Usually 7am to 4pm on site but with flexibility, depending on project requirements.
