About the Role
We are looking for a talented and reliable Social Media Content Creator to capture high quality, engaging content at our Norwich city centre venue.
This is a hands on role covering a varied programme of events including club nights, day parties, brunches, live music, DJs, special events and other venue activity.
We need someone who understands how to capture the atmosphere and energy of a busy event and turn it into social content that makes people want to be there.
Experience creating content within nightlife, hospitality, music or events would be particularly beneficial, especially experience working in low light and fast moving environments.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Attending approximately 2–4 events per week to capture content on site• Shooting high quality short form video and photography for Instagram, TikTok and Facebook• Capturing DJs, crowds, live music, drinks, entertainment, venue atmosphere and key moments• Producing engaging Reels, Stories and TikTok style content• Identifying moments and angles that will perform well on social media• Editing footage into polished, ready to post content• Providing selected content during or shortly after events when required• Delivering edited content within agreed deadlines, with a fast turnaround often required• Working with our management and marketing team to understand upcoming events and content priorities• Helping maintain a strong and consistent visual identity across our social channels
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has experience producing high quality social media content and can demonstrate the quality of their work• Ideally has experience shooting nightlife, hospitality, festivals, live music or other events• Understands how to capture good quality content in dark and fast moving environments• Has a strong understanding of Instagram Reels, Stories and TikTok• Can confidently edit short form video to a professional standard• Keeps up to date with social media trends, hooks, formats and editing styles• Has a creative eye and knows how to capture atmosphere, energy and personality• Is confident working in busy event environments• Can work independently and use their own initiative• Is reliable, punctual and professional• Is comfortable working late nights, including events finishing in the early hours• Has regular Friday and Saturday night availability, alongside occasional weekday or daytime availability• Can work to short deadlines and provide content quickly when required
You should have access to suitable equipment to produce high quality social media content. Please let us know what equipment and editing software you currently use.
Pay
£30.00–£50.00 per hour
The rate offered will depend on relevant experience, portfolio and demonstrated quality of work.
We are prepared to pay towards the higher end of the advertised range for someone who can demonstrate exceptional event and nightlife content and consistently produce high quality material suitable for immediate use across our social channels.
Hours & Availability
This is a flexible, casual role based around our event calendar rather than a standard fixed hours position.
We anticipate approximately 2–4 events per week, although the number of events and hours available will vary.
The role requires regular Friday and Saturday evening/night availability, including late finishes. There will also be occasional daytime, Sunday and midweek opportunities depending on our event programme.
