Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Bakery Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will support the bakery operations by assisting in the preparation and production of a variety of baked goods. This role is perfect for individuals who have a passion for baking and a keen interest to learn. As a Bakery Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our products meet high standards of quality and safety.
Days are Monday to Saturday. Monday to Friday approx 5am -12pm and Saturdays approx 3am to 8am. Please note this is NOT a seasonal position and therefore is NOT suitable for students.
Duties
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients for baking, including measuring, mixing, and weighing.
- Support bakers in the production of various baked goods such as bread, cakes and pasties.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bakery, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
- Operate bakery equipment safely and efficiently, following all operational guidelines.
- Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in product quality.
- Assist in the production of pasties.
