Job Summary
We’re looking for a reliable, hardworking person to join our team as a delivery driver. This role involves driving company vehicles and helping out in the warehouse, so you’ll need to be confident behind the wheel and comfortable with physical work. You’ll play an important part in making sure deliveries run smoothly and customers get their orders on time.
What you’ll be doing
- Driving company vans, while following road safety rules and company procedures
- Carrying out basic vehicle checks before and after each shift
- Delivering orders to customers accurately and timely
- Keeping in touch with customers and the team at work about delivery times or any issues on the road
- Loading and unloading goods, which can involve heavy lifting
- Keeping simple records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel use
- Helping out in the warehouse when needed, including stock organization and batching orders
- Following health and safety guidelines to keep everyone safe
- Role involves early starts 5am and Saturday work
What we’re looking for
- Previous delivery driving or commercial driving experience is a bonus
- Experience in a warehouse or logistics role is helpful but not essential
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- Good communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude
- A valid driving license with a clean record
