Our new café - 77° South - at Discovery Point we are now recruiting for a Café Supervisor to support our Cafe Manager in delivering a high-quality customer experience directing café and kitchen operations to deliver a seamless visitor experience and drive results. This role includes:
- Managing groups and visitors, resolving enquiries and ensuring safety
- Managing staff rotas within company budgets.
- Supervising day to day operations, food ordering and preparation and recording deliveries
- Pricing of products in line with current legislation, cash and till retail and operations securely managed and refund procedures complied with
- Assisting with planning and staffing during public events and accurate completion of timesheets
- Deputising for our Café Manager during absences
- Supporting admissions and retail colleagues and processes
In this customer facing role you will need to be someone who is able to communicate to a high level with all our visitors. Self-motivated with an enthusiastic personality to help lead the team to achieve the highest standards of customer care and success. You will have already achieved a Food Hygiene Certificate at Level 2 and have solid experience of food handling and preparation, you must be able to demonstrate experience of working in a busy café space with Barista experience preferred.
28 hours per week spread over 7 days, the detail will be discussed at interview.
