About the Role
Join a leading green services provider in London as a Tree Watering Operative. This role involves maintaining and caring for trees across a variety of boroughs, supporting healthy urban green spaces and contributing to environmental sustainability.
This is a 6-month initial contract starting in May, with the opportunity to progress into a permanent role.
Key Responsibilities
- Water and maintain trees across assigned routes
- Operate and drive a 3.5-tonne flatbed van safely
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions, including rain
- Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures
- Maintain accurate records of daily tasks and locations
- Work as part of a team to ensure routes are completed efficiently
- Support the care and sustainability of urban green spaces
- Watering up to 50 plants around the assigned areas
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Reliable, punctual, and conscientious
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors all day
- Comfortable starting early (7:00 AM, Monday to Friday) and working full time shifts
- Positive, adaptable, and team-oriented
- Able to follow instructions carefully and pay attention to detail
- Holds a full UK manual driving licence

- Contract: 6-month fixed-term (with potential to extend or move to permanent)
- Salary: £12.70/hour

Previous experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping is desirable
