Summer Job
We are looking for a temp experienced Housekeeper to join our hotel in Canterbury, we are a busy hotel and the position can vary in hours from four or five days which will include 1 day at the weekend mostly working Sundays, extra hours available for those able to assist the restaurant on the breakfast shift.
We can offer our housekeepers to assist on breakfast shifts in the restaurant from 8am should they require extra hours
Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing
- Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards
- Protect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies
- Notify superiors on any damages, deficits and disturbances
- Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience
- Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate
- Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices
Qualifications and Skills
Must have worked in a hotel doing same role for a min of 1 years and fully comfortable making beds without training
