About us
Evolution Cooling is a Birmingham-based chiller engineering and process cooling specialist, providing chiller sales, hire, service and maintenance to industrial and commercial clients across the UK. We keep critical cooling systems running for manufacturers, breweries, data centres and more — and we're looking for an organised, hands-on Operations Coordinator to keep our day-to-day running smoothly.
The role
This is a varied, busy role at the heart of the business. You'll keep parts, quotes, engineers and the warehouse moving in the right direction, and be a first point of contact for customers. It suits someone practical who's happy switching between a desk and the warehouse floor.
Key responsibilities
Ordering parts from suppliers and tracking deliveries through to completion
Supporting customers with quotes and general enquiries
Coordinating and scheduling engineers' jobs and diaries
Organising the warehouse and keeping stock in good order
Loading and offloading parts and chiller units
Answering incoming calls and covering general reception/admin duties
What we're looking for
Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle several tasks at once
Confident telephone manner and good customer service
Comfortable with both admin/computer work and physical warehouse tasks
Reliable, proactive and a good team player
Forklift licence/experience preferred (or willingness to be trained)
Nice to have
Experience in operations, logistics, or a trade/engineering environment
Familiarity with parts ordering or scheduling systems
